These terms apply to your use of Right Ride (rightride.in). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information.

1. What Right Ride is

Right Ride is a free information service. It helps you compare cars on sale in India, find the variant that has the features you want, estimate the on-road price in your state and find showrooms near you. We are not a car dealer, broker, lender or insurer. We don't sell cars, take bookings or payments, or act for any carmaker or dealer.

2. Prices and specifications

• Where it comes from. Ex-showroom prices, variants and features are collected automatically from each manufacturer's official website and refreshed every week. If a maker doesn't publish something, we may use a reputable Indian car website instead. See "Data sources & coverage" in the site footer for details.
• On-road prices are estimates. We add our estimates of road tax, registration, insurance, FASTag and TCS for the state you choose. The real price depends on your city, dealer, insurer, offers, accessories and the date you buy. Always confirm the final price with your dealer before booking.
• Things change. Carmakers change prices, variants and features without notice, and automated collection can make mistakes. Information may be out of date, incomplete or wrong until our next refresh. If you spot an error, please tell us at info@rightride.in.
• Mileage and range are the maker's claimed or certified figures. Real-world numbers are usually lower.
• Safety ratings come from Bharat NCAP, Global NCAP or ASEAN NCAP. They apply to the version that was tested, which may differ from the one on sale now.

3. Scores and recommendations

Expert scores summarise published reviews. Match scores, "Best for you" picks, the Great / Good / Weak ratings on the compare page, space and resale estimates, and "Your Right Variant" suggestions are worked out by Right Ride from those reviews, maker data and your answers. They are opinions to help you shortlist, not financial, legal or professional advice, and not a promise about any car. Test-drive the car and do your own checks before you buy.

4. Dealers and test drives

• Showroom names, locations and contact details come from OpenStreetMap contributors and other public sources. They may be incomplete or out of date. We don't check or endorse any dealer.
• "Book a test drive", dealer phone numbers and dealer websites take you to the carmaker or dealer. Any booking, enquiry, purchase or payment is between you and them, on their terms. We are not a party to it and aren't responsible for their products, service, prices or conduct.

5. Third-party content and trademarks

• Car photos are the manufacturers' own press and website images. Car names, brand names and logos are trademarks of their owners, used only to identify the cars.
• Video reviews belong to their creators, such as Autocar India, and play on YouTube. Written expert reviews link to their publisher's site.
• Right Ride is independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any carmaker, dealer, publisher or video creator, unless we say so clearly on the page.
• Links to other websites are for convenience. We don't control those sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

6. How we make money

Right Ride is free to use. We may earn money from partners, for example dealers or carmakers for enquiries, video creators for featured videos, or advertisers. Any sponsored listing, featured placement or advert will be clearly labelled. Partnerships don't change the prices, specifications or safety ratings we show.

7. Using the site

You may use Right Ride for your own, non-commercial car research. Please don't:

• copy, scrape or download the site's data in bulk, or by automated means, without our written permission;
• try to break, overload or get around the site's security, or interfere with other people using it;
• use the site for anything unlawful or misleading, or pass off its content as your own.

8. Our content

The Right Ride name and logo, the site's design, text, scores, comparisons and code belong to Right Ride. You may share links to any page and quote small parts with credit to Right Ride. Showroom data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License.

9. No guarantees

We work hard to keep Right Ride accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we don't guarantee that information on the site is complete, accurate or current, or that the site will always be available or free of errors.

10. Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, Right Ride is not responsible for any loss or damage from using the site or relying on its information. That includes a price difference, a booking or purchase decision, or anything a dealer, carmaker or other website does. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Changes

We may change or stop any part of the site, and we may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of India.
